Girona Costa Brava Airport boasts a state of the art, two-storey terminal building. Catering to both international and domestic arrivals and departures, the single terminal building is very modern in design and easy to navigate. Airlines served by the airport include British Midland Airways, Ryanair, Iberia and Transavia, with frequent flights to destinations such as London, Manchester, Blackpool, Bournemouth, Sheffield, Dublin, East Midlands, Liverpool, Shannon, Glasgow, Madrid, Rotterdam, Frankfurt, Brussels and Venice.
Girona Costa Brava Airport has an enviable reputation for excellent facilities and the airport is always improving its amenities for both passengers and visitors.
On the ground level of the terminal, both an airport information desk and tourism advice booth can be found, both centrally located, with three tour operator counters nearby. The Departures level of the terminal has three shops selling gifts, books, print media and souvenirs, while the ground level has one shop offering a variety of foodstuffs. There are no duty-free outlets at Girona Costa Brava Airport. The airport has three eateries, which serve light meals and refreshments. Additional facilities include a children's play area, baby-changing room and a first-aid centre.
The terminal has limited banking and postal services, with a single ATM machine and a post box located on the ground floor outside Arrivals. Located in the old terminal is a multipurpose meeting room that is 200 square metres in size, which can be fitted with audiovisual equipment. The room also has toilets and a bar. For more extensive business and conference facilities, the Novotel Girona is located just a few minutes drive away.
Being a modern terminal, Girona Costa Brava Airport has a great range of amenities, making visits by disabled persons as comfortable as possible. The terminal has modified lifts, toilets and telephones, and there is ramp access to the parking lots. Airlines can arrange wheelchairs and airport staff can provide assistance upon request.
